If you're not completely toned, order a size up AT LEAST. These briefs are well made with fabric that feels pleasant on the skin and vibrant, cheerful patterns. That said - I have been a size 14 in practically every pair of underwear I have bought for years, and I was a little disappointed at these 'full' briefs. The waistline barely comes within spitting distance of my navel, and the gusset is so narrow I might as well have bought thongs. With dimensions like these, I am spending half my time wearing a belly stirrup and half the time excusing myself to adjust! I know fashion doesn't always think about realistic body shapes, but I can't be the only size 14 with a bit of a belly!
